Bleed Pilot Control
In this circuit, the normally-open is held in the closed position because the normally-closed creates a back pressure in the pilot operator. If the 鈥渨hisker鈥 of the is contacted it exhausts the line from the and the pilot actuator which allows the spring to open the . When the whisker is 鈥渞eset鈥 the output of the will be turned off.

The is adjusted to a flow value that is less than the flow of the . If the flow through the is too low, the MAVO-1 will have a continuous output. Conversely, if the is passing too much air, the will reach a 鈥渟aturated鈥 condition and the will remain in the off position.

Note: When this circuit is initially connected to an air supply, a momentary output from the will occur. Evaluate how this will affect your control.
